Lochinvar House is a farm stay bed and breakfast offering guests the opportunity to experience a rural retreat in historic accommodation which is close to the New England Highway, Hunter Expressway and a multitude of local vineyards and restaurants.
Established in the 1820's with the aid of convict servants, "Lochinvar" was one of the earliest land grants in the Hunter Valley. It became one of the first commercial vineyards, even sending wine to competitions in Europe. The first owner was a well-connected young Scotsman, an entrepreneur who established a new bank in Sydney Town which has now become a national name.
